Karis has been "talking on the phone" for the past few weeks now. I (Ashley) have just now been able to get a good video of her while she is "on the phone". You will notice that she has my AT&T wireless card as a phone.
When we are driving around town I will hear her start to carry on a conversation. When I look back she has her hand to her ear as though she is holding a phone. She will ask questions and wait for responses as well as say "uh-huh" and "no-no" to correct whatever the person she is talking to is saying. We have gotten a big kick out of the whole thing. We hope you all enjoy as well. We hope that when she turns 16 she will not use these videos against us! :-)

Give that girl one of your old cell phones- Elena LOVES mine! We tried the whole pink plastic toy thing, but she really appreciates having my old phone so much more! Although she gets upset when noone talks back because she gets to talk on the real phone often enough to know what to expect now...
Our little Karis is so big and so grown up having imaginary conversations on the "telephone." Just watch out when she knows how to use the real phone. She might try to call us in Mozambique! Loving the hair too.
